A kitchen appliance is not working

Simple checks for common furnished-stay kitchen appliances, with clear stop conditions to prevent damage or injury.

Check the appliance instructions in the guest guide before using unfamiliar controls.

Try only these basic checks

  1. Confirm that the door, drawer, or lid is fully closed.
  2. Check that the appliance is switched on and the intended program is selected.
  3. For an induction cooktop, use a flat magnetic pan centred on the marked zone.
  4. Photograph any error code and contact support with the appliance name.

Do not move built-in appliances, use tools, reset breakers, or dismantle filters during the stay.

Stop immediately

Turn the appliance off and contact support if there is smoke, a burnt smell, sparks, leaking water, cracked glass, or a damaged cable. Call emergency services for fire or immediate danger.
